Wu, had more than 150,000 followers on her @wutrain account, declares, “I’ve experienced this platform becoming more and more toxic over the last year, and it’s a direction that makes it a less productive use of my personal time to reach constituents about local issues.” She says that her staff will continue to use her @Mayor Wu official mayoral account to send out messages concerning city business.
